We provide a carefully prepared environment with specialised equipment and materials that encourage exploration, discovery, and independence.
Three activity spaces where all our children learn and play together
Our Creative Room is where imaginations run free. Children explore art, painting, music, and messy play, developing fine motor skills and creative expression in a space designed for hands-on discovery.
The Main Room is our central learning space where children come together for circle time, structured learning, and Early Years activities. Group play and guided sessions help build confidence, communication, and school readiness.
Our cosy Book Corner is a calm, inviting space for reading, stories, and quiet time. With comfortable sofas and a rich selection of books, children develop a love of reading and language in a relaxed setting.
Following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Children learn to manage their feelings, develop confidence and self-awareness, and build positive relationships. They gain independence and learn to understand and respect the feelings of others.
Children develop their listening, attention, and understanding through conversation, stories, songs, and rhymes. They build confidence in speaking and learn to express themselves effectively.
From fine motor skills like threading beads and using scissors to gross motor activities like climbing, running, and ball games in our two outdoor spaces, children develop coordination, control, and healthy movement.
Children develop early reading and writing skills through mark-making, letter recognition, and a rich variety of books and stories. From age 3, they are introduced to phonics and begin to link sounds to letters.
Through counting, sorting, patterns, and hands-on equipment, children explore numbers, shapes, space, and measure. Abstract concepts become tangible and engaging through hands-on activities.
Children explore people, communities, and the natural world through everyday experiences, sensory play, and investigations. They develop an understanding of their environment and the wider world around them.
Art, music, dance, stories, and imaginative play allow children to explore and share their ideas, thoughts, and feelings. We celebrate creativity in all its forms and encourage each child's unique expression.

How we keep you informed every day
We keep parents informed through texts, emails, and photos throughout the day. At drop-off and collection, our staff share verbal updates so you always know how your child's day is going. Each child also has a learning journal that captures their progress, which forms the basis of the termly reports we send home.
