Dear Parents,
Welcome to Bunnies on the Green Day Nursery. We are a small, friendly nursery based in the heart of Stockwell, and have been caring for local children since 1991.
Our approach is grounded in Early Years principles, with Montessori influences, which means we believe every child is a unique individual. We provide a nurturing environment where children can learn at their own pace, developing confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
As a small nursery with a maximum of 26 children, we are able to offer the individual attention that every child deserves. Our dedicated team of qualified practitioners work closely with parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential.

Our Story
A cornerstone of the Stockwell community since 1991
For over 33 years, Bunnies on the Green has been nurturing young minds in the heart of Stockwell. Founded in 1991, our small Early Years nursery, with Montessori influences, provides individual attention and care for up to 26 children aged 2–5.
Housed in the welcoming United Reformed Church on Stockwell Road, we provide a warm, stimulating environment where every child is valued as an individual. Our qualified team of practitioners delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with kindness, creativity, and a deep understanding of how young children learn best.

High-quality care in a warm, friendly, and welcoming environment
We are committed to providing the highest quality of care within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Every child is assigned a dedicated key worker who monitors their developmental progress and works in close partnership with parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.
We maintain strong staff-to-child ratios so that every child receives quality time and individual attention. Our team are all NVQ, NNEB, or Montessori qualified, bringing genuine expertise and passion to everything they do.

Two Outdoor Spaces
Children enjoy two separate outdoor areas featuring a climbing wall, ropes, obstacle course, and scooters — rain or shine.
Nutritious Meals
Nutritious meals with less sugar and salt, rated 5/5 for Food Hygiene. Full lunch, snack time at 9:45am, and tea at 2:30pm.

Mrs Beverley Stovell
Principal
NNEB/Montessorian qualified, 20+ years experience. Beverley founded Bunnies on the Green in 1991 and has been dedicated to providing exceptional early years education ever since.
Our Staff
All of our practitioners are NVQ, NNEB, or Montessori qualified. We believe that qualified, experienced staff are the foundation of quality early years education. Each team member brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine passion for children's development.
